5.4. The Console Window

The console (The window with "XWIO console" in its title) is the central management window for the BAP system. From here the network can be rebooted, the debugging facilities can be launched or new PROLOG programs can be started. Also this window serves as 'standard output' for system and error messages. Its menu bar provides several options:

System

This popup menu contains items concerning applications and the more general options.

• System/Open

• System/Reset

• System/Setup

• System/Exit

Debug

The second item in the main menu bar contains items for debugging purposes:

• Debug/Spy

• Debug/Process List

• Debug/Trace

• Debug/Pause

Help

The Help menu accesses the online documentation system.
