3.2. Compiler Hardware Requirements:

Transputer Network: This version of Brain Aid Prolog runs with all 32 bit Transputers (T414, T425, T800, T805, etc.). Running on a single node, the compiler requires about 2.5 MBytes memory, running distributed it requires 1.5 MBytes on each node. The exact amount of required memory depends on the program that is to be compiled. Long clauses require additional memory for the code generator, while the memory requirements of the assembler depend on the total size of the program.

Host Server: The host server should support multiple text windows and file-I/O.
